Catalonia does not keep Maundy Thursday; instead it gives Easter Monday, Saint John's Day and the Diada on 11 September, a Saturday in 2027. Saint Stephen's Day, a holiday in 2026, falls on a Sunday in 2027 and drops off its list.

On a Friday, 1 January, a holiday across Spain. It ends on a Friday, 31 December. As 2027 is not a leap year it has 365 days and February has 28. The next leap year is 2028, which starts on a Saturday and will have a 29 February, also a Tuesday.

Which week is Holy Week 2027?

Week 12: from Monday 22 March to Easter Sunday, 28 March. Maundy Thursday is a holiday in nearly all of Spain and Good Friday everywhere. Easter Monday, already in week 13, is a holiday only in some regions, such as Catalonia and the Basque Country.
