About

Independent, non-governmental site

Radif Partners is an independent publisher. For Qué Festivo it reads the Directorate-General for Labour's yearly resolution in the BOE, each region's holiday decree and the orders that fix every town's two local holidays in the regional or provincial gazette; dates that follow a rule (Holy Week, Carnival, clock changes) are computed with tested algorithms. It is not a public body or an agency, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Why Qué Festivo exists

Knowing which days are holidays in your Spanish town takes three texts today: the BOE resolution with its 19-column table, your region's decree and the local-holiday resolution, which in many provinces comes out in a different gazette. The articles that do the rounds each autumn copy the national table and rarely give your town's days. Here you type your town and see its 14 holidays, each with its source next to it, in Spanish or in English.

Who publishes it

It is published by Radif Partners, a company that builds tools from public rules and data. It is not a public body, a payroll agency or a law firm. The site has no link to the Ministry of Labour, the regional governments or the town councils, and uses none of their crests or logos. It charges for nothing and carries no affiliate links.

Where the dates come from

National and regional holidays: the Directorate-General for Labour's yearly resolutions, for 2027 and for 2026. Local holidays: each region's or province's resolution, cited with issue and date on each region's page. The framework: the Workers' Statute and Royal Decree 2001/1983. The clock change: Royal Decree 236/2002. We cover 201 towns today. How we work is in the method; how we correct, in the editorial policy.

Your data

The tools run only in your browser: the town you search for, the leave days you enter and the .ics file you download never reach a server. More in the privacy policy.

What the site does not do

It does not replace the calendar your employer must display at the workplace or your collective agreement, which may set personal days, shifts or closures. It gives no employment advice.
