Many people in La Rioja work in Logroño and live in nearby villages, such as Lardero or Villamediana de Iregua, which have their own local holidays; here too, the workplace's town is what counts. In Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja holidays follow the farming year: spring patron saints, summer festivities and the grape harvest in September. The 2027 ones are already published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja.
