Navarre has no regional day on the holiday list: it completes its 12 with Saint Joseph's Day, Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday. In 2027 it has 12 public holidays: the 9 shared by all of Spain and 3 of its own, St Joseph's Day (Friday 19 March), Maundy Thursday (Thursday 25 March) and Easter Monday (Monday 29 March). It is one of the few regions giving both Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday, which in 2027 leaves five days in a row at Easter. Navarrese towns' local holidays are published in the Official Gazette of Navarre. Navarre also sets 3 December, Saint Francis Xavier, as a local holiday common to all its towns, so each council picks only the other one: Pamplona, San Saturnino, moved to Monday 30 November in 2026; Tudela, Saint Anne in July. Despite its own charter regime, Navarre applies the same 14-holiday framework of the Workers' Statute as the rest of Spain.

Navarre has 272 municipalities and, as they only pick one of their two local holidays, the annual BON resolution is short: one date per town, plus later amendments. In villages that day is usually the patron saint's in summer; in Pamplona, the July Sanfermines are not a statutory holiday except for workers whose collective agreement or employer gives the day.

In 2027 Navarre has the longest possible Easter without taking leave: Maundy Thursday 25 March to Easter Monday 29, five days, preceded a week earlier by Saint Joseph on a Friday. In December, Navarre Day, Friday 3, adds to Monday 6 and Wednesday 8: booking only Tuesday 7 links six days in a row, Friday 3 to Wednesday 8.

School calendar 2026-2027 in Navarre
The 2026-2027 school year in Navarre is set by the rules published in the BON on 21 April 2026. Secondary school starts on Friday 4 September 2026 and ends on Friday 18 June 2027. The Christmas break runs from 23 December to 10 January and the Easter break from 25 March to 4 April, both inclusive.
